Crossed by old Roman roads, this fascinating and authentic place, named Comprensorio Amerino, is very rich in nature, culture and traditions. The nearby town of Amelia, the most ancient mediaeval town of the Umbrian people, is worth visiting for its limestone polygonal walls (3rd cent. BC) as well as its churches, the marvellous historic palaces and the Roman Cistern.
The estate is located between Amelia (5 km) and Lugnano Teverina in (5 km) and lies on a small hill at 450 m above sea level and offers a stunning 360 degrees panoramic view over the surrounding hills and valleys.
The property is set in beautiful gardens and olive groves of around 2,000 trees. This 17th century Umbrian estate still preserves unique original features, including a rare threshing floor built with hand-made bricks, which was used by local farmers for threshing their grain by hand.
