It refers to the mythical Montado do Cidrão, an area of great natural and cultural value in the parish, where the legend of the Bicho Cidrão dwells — a wandering soul of a shepherd who, according to tradition, haunts the mountains with his bellow that announces a storm. This legendary spirit is part of the community's imaginary, representing the deep connection between the people and the untameable nature that surrounds them.
