Positive: Friendly, helpful staff are a real asset to the hotel. Quadruple room was decent size for us and our two children and very clean and the bathroom was equally well sized with nice rainfall shower. Staff were flexible about check out which meant we could take our time. Handy supermarket across the road and excellent La Taverna Vecchia is definitely a must while you're there.

Negative: Location isn't that great. Yes it's within 15 minutes of the Coliseum but then quite a walk from the other main sites. Also very noisy with street noise/traffic and they were even digging up the road during one of the nights of our stay. Breakfast was average at best. Very slim pickings on the first day after the buffet had been ransacked by a group of students and not a huge selection. When we asked for eggs they did make them.
